To learn more about the "blockprint" technique

The ink pad used for prints is hollowed out in rosewood for the sake of absolute purity. Only the heart of the tree is retained, because none of the nodes must come to hinder the perfection of the block of wood. With this "blockprint" of natural vegetable ink, only one color per block, several blocks are therefore useful for the production of a print. The layers of ink will then be superimposed thanks to a strong hand pressure.

Pads are applied directly to 100% natural fabrics to form drawings. The irregularity of the pattern is quite normal during this manual operation, the vegetable ink will then dry in the open air and "evolve" to bring a "vintage" side to the fabric.

Today, the prints are more and more modern in order to harmonize with current decorating trends, but also thanks to the great designers who have brought this technique up to date. Shapes
